Helpful, cute and sustainable. Gorm the whale combines three Hevea baby toys in one: soothing toy, bath toy and grasping toy. The child-friendly toy consists of 100% natural rubber and is therefore completely plastic-free. Dyed with FDA-approved natural plant pigments, he is non-toxic for the little ones. The malleable and soft rubber encourages baby’s natural gnawing action and the gentle textured surface is ideal for soothing and massaging irritated gums, while being extremely durable. The cute whale is easy to fall in love with, and even easier to grab and hold.
Gorm the Whale’s unique, hole free design makes him a safe and hygienic toy for babies and toddlers of all ages — with no holes where mould and grime could grow. Thanks to his large fluke, tiny hands can easily grip him. Gorm, the lovable whale from Hevea, is a lot of fun, not only in the bathtub! He is 10cm tall, made in Malaysia in fair working conditions, and designed in Denmark. Gorm arrives in a cute box made from FSC certified paper and biodegradable materials with Hevea signature graphics printed in vegetable inks.

The bathing toys should be cleaned by hand. They should not be washed in a dishwasher. For a more natural approach to cleaning your bath toys, use vinegar. Mix four parts white vinegar to one part warm water. Submerge the toys completely or apply the solution to each toy with a sponge.
When the bathing toy is not in use, dry it and keep in a clean and dry place, out of direct sunlight and heat. Produced from 100% natural rubber latex.
The colours are natural and may fade over time. Natural rubber is a natural material that changes over time.

HEAVE began as a question
Historically, HEVEA began as a question that needed an answer: how to take care of our children and our planet just a little bit better. That makes everything quite simple for us: we were born of an urge to do better. To show that how we act and live in the world makes a difference to ourselves, and our children – the citizens of tomorrow. The lack of natural options for our future generations and the choices we have to make was what made us turn to Hevea Brasiliensis – natural rubber, and this has formed the basis of our mission and our purpose from the very beginning.
PLASTIC IS PASSÉ, NATURAL IS NOW
Hevea, or natural rubber, can replace many kinds of plastic. Hevea decomposes naturally and can be reused to make new products. The wood of the tree itself and the rubber are our only self-imposed limitations when it comes to designing and developing new products. However, this hardly feels limiting as we are still getting to know these materials better and better. In all our curiosity, we keep firmly in contact with our roots and our reason for being here: to give you the option of creating a fingerprint that is slightly better than the one we inherited.
Great design & natural materials
Geographically, our mix is unique. While the hevea trees grow mainly in Southeast Asia, and much of our production requires skills and facilities found close to the plantations where the hevea is harvested, our design philosophy is inherently Danish. Unifying the beautiful design with clear functionality is the core of the renowned Danish design tradition, and we stick to this in discovering and developing all that our cherished hevea can offer.
